There is a setting to specify whether option+L opens chat in the sidebar vs the editor. It seems that the setting is ignored. It always opens in my sidebar. My workaround is to press option+c, then enter to open a new chat, which always opens in the editor.
Hey @djedi Are you in VS Code? There is a Cody setting where it should open by default, “Sidebar”, “Editor” and “Sticky”. Did you try one of those setting?
Yeah, the setting doesn’t change anything. I’ve tried workspace and user and each of the options and the behavior is always the same.
