Is this because of server load/overall demand by users? Any chance I can see what the current performance should be?
I really would like to know if there is a performance limit on Cody itself, or if it could also be on my side. CPU-usage for browser, while Cody generates the answer, is quite high.
Maybe my issue is also related to the following issue?
Hi @Joihnny579
could you provide more info?
- Browser / OS
- Console log
I will make sure the product team sees this in the weekly community feedback report.
It’s Win10, and it’s so slow no matter if I use Firefox or Opera.
It seems if I start a new chat, the performance is better than working in an existing chat with multiple inputs/outputs. Can this be?
Yes, the web chat experience lags with longer chat sessions. The same happens to me too. After profiling we may have found the issue and Justin informed the team for further investigations.
So, stay tuned.
I found something which might be of help to you:
If the answer takes forever to print in the browser, it seems I can refresh the entire page, and no matter how long the answer is, after the refresh it is completely there. So the issue might be printing the text trough the browser, and not the answer form Cody itself?
I have the same problem but in Visual Studio Code.
It’s very long sometimes.
If I close VS and reopen it, all is here.
Hello @CharlyAes32
The issue is known to the dev team and they working on it.
I have the same issue with Cody on Visual Studio Code Extension. My chat session is very long and it is lagging indefinitely.
