I use Cody/VSCode mostly for software development but I’ve recently discovered that Cody & Claude 3.5 Sonnet make an outstanding software assistant for creative writing. The inline Opt-K feature works really well for generating the next few lines of dialog in the context of the story.
A simple Opt-K prompt like “Erica finally confronts David” often produces decent output that can then be tweaked to continue the plot.
However, there seems to be no accessible history of the prompts I used during the writing process. There are time when this could be useful - especially for explaining to others how I used Cody to assist my writing.
Is there a way, documented or undocumented , to access the inline prompt history for a given file. If not, please consider this a feature request.
