OpenAI just announced a new model called o1 and it seems it is pretty good, better than 4o.
Are there plans to add it to Cody’s available LLMs? If so, when can we expect to see it?

The AI team will certainly consider including it when the benchmarks are evaluated.
What is your experience with this model so far?
It’s still not available to me on chatgpt.com but some users on reddit have started testing it and the results are hilarious.

I get the error message Please enter a different email address. This form does not accept addresses from outlook.sg. It’s the same for my Google address.
@PriNova Same issue here, it is not possible to register for early-access with a gmail address (which is however accepted for cody membership 
)
I had the same problem. You can just click on the model in the cody extension and it will automatically add you to the waitinglist via your username.

The error message is suboptimal. 
I’m on Cody for VSCode v1.34.3 but don’t see the option to be added to the waitlist for OpenAI’s latest model:
Is that somehow based on geographic region? I’m outside of the US.

Are you on the latest Cody pre-release?
Nope not on pre-release… I’m on the regular release. The blog post did not mention having to install the pre-release version (from what I could see) but I’m happy to try that.
Switching to pre-release caused the option to appear so that worked, thanks for the tip
