Hi, I purchased the Pro license, and I have been working most of the day. But in the late afternoon every time I request a new code for my work, I get an “out of memory” message. So my question is whether there is a limit, or why I display this message. I should continue from that point because it is almost the last piece of code I need. the second question is if I log in from another computer, I can’t see the conversation. so I will always have to log in from one computer?
Hey @webmasterseo this out of memory error may appear if you have a very long-lasting conversation and the context window exceeds the limit. I suggest to keep your chat short and splitt your task into smaller manageable sub-task and start a new chat if a sub-task is done.
About your second question, the chat and chat history will not be synchronisized between your devices.
Thank you
Hi, thank you for your quick response. I will have one more question. How can I do to open a new chat, however without losing the path to the chat in question. There were a lot of code changes in the path, so how can I fix it and make sure that all those changes are not lost? Basically it got stuck right in the final code.
If you already applied the changes to your code, you can safely open a new chat, reference the files or code snippets for your continuing task via the ‘@-file’ mention feature and continue with the task at hand.
This will not work on the cody web. Here you have to copy and paste the changed code into a new chat message. Remember to only paste the code snippets which are relevant.
