in the past, it used to eventually show a popup where I could sign in directly or copy a url. When that popup came up this time, I clicked a trust this url button, and now I am no longer prompted. I can not find a way to un trust it, and now I can no longer log in to cody.
The issue maybe stems from having to many access tokens generated in the Sourcegraph client area.
Usually, a re-authentication isn’t needed once logged in. If an access token expires, the automatic login method via the selected method should trigger the authentication method again and generate a new token.
There were no existing auth tokens when I went manually to create one. I guess I’ll know more in 90 days, but I feel like this has something to do with VS code and / or the way the ide prompts for login to github. Used to give me a popup, but now it won’t because I trusted it. In the past I always had to go the manual route and copy the url and open a browser separately… unfortunately I didn’t remember that until after I trusted the url.
Hi Scomo,
which Operatingssysten you are using?
I have had a similar prob. a few month ago at Cachy OS (and other Arch Distros), but using VSCodium.
The prob. seams to be a incorrect path to the folder where VSCodium it’s settings stores. I switched to VSCode-OSS which works like expected.
Just in Case you works with a Arch Distro to…
Hi, I’m using windows. It’s been 90 days and I have this problem again. I think that the issue is somewhere in the continue with github action.
The workaround access steps above worked this time, I just needed to find where I was supposed to generate the access tokens. For 90 days from now, it’s in Account → Settings after logging in to sourcegraph.
