I was using Cody in VS Code. Just now I started a conversation and asked Cody to correct the code. There was a break in the code. I was asked to complete it. But Cody can’t remember anything. Is it necessary for me to provide a background or a code? The situation is so depressing. Since yesterday, this scenario has been happening again and again. What will the problem be?? As a result, I can’t finish my work on time.
Hey @Danielvikey What kind of model are you using and was this file referenced before?
Is this a longer chat or a somehow fresh one?
What version of Cody are you using?
Thank you
I am using Claude. In all versions, including Think, Claude behaves the same way. Yes, I gave the full code before starting. It is fresh chat. Only one time I ask to edit the code. While it was writing, in between, it stopped. It is not able to remember anything from the chat.

So in this case, you edit the code or you applied a code change via the Apply button, right?
I reinstalled Cody. Now it’s working. Thanks for your kind attention.
@Danielvikey Great that it works now. It seems there were some kind of interference with an older version.
