My VScode has been opening random Untitled files a few weeks ago. Recently found the time to trace the annoying behavior to Cody extension by disabling all extensions, enabling core ones, and disabling 1-by-1 until it was Cody. Anyone else getting this bug? Makes Cody unusable to me because I keep very few windows open during dev for fast switching, and the extra untitled windows kills my workflow
Had this issue myself, but it disappeared after a newer pre-release version. Also using VS Code insider.
i got this too, but it only started after installing KCoder extension.
Yup, same issue, same islation path, it’s definitely cody. every time you close the untitled file, it just opens up a new one. @ichim-david 's point suggests it’s been fixed, maybe it will make its way into the next release.
Yep! I’m getting it too, and it’s driving me nuts!
Will be moving to Copilot if a fix isn’t released very soon!
I have this issue too, annoying, I’m re starting the extension host each time. I reported this myself before, I hope it gets fixed soon
Same issue here since a day or two.
Hey all, thanks for the report. I let the product team know!

The fix should be in the pre-release now and available in tomorrow’s v1.28.0 release. Thanks for reporting it here.
