PyCharm 2024.1 / Cody 5.5.5 plugin errors

Hello Sourcegraph Team,

first of all I would like to say hello, as I am a new user of Cody Pro and I am still testing its features :slight_smile:

I am using PyCharm 2024.1 (Professional Edition)
Build #PY-241.14494.241, built on March 28, 2024
on Ubuntu 24.04.4.

I am getting two Cody related errors in PyCharm:

and the other one:

You may already know about them, but just to be sure, I wanted to let you know :slight_smile:

Warm regards,

Hello Cacek! Welcome. Thanks for the details, I will get some eyes on this. Does this happen with chat, autocomplete, or something else?

Also, if you could provide a screenshot, that would be helpful.

Thanks!

@jdorfman

Thanks for the quick response. It’s hard to say when exactly this happens as generally everything works and no messages show up suddenly. The only thing is an exclamation mark pops up in the bottom right corner and when clicking on it these errors show up.
The times when this can happen is, for example, sometimes when asking Cody in chat it just hangs up and there is no response. I have noticed that the VSCode plugin is more likely not to have such “freezes” i and is generally more responsive :slight_smile:

The only screenshots I can show are how this error message looks.

I hope this may help in some way.

Thanks!
