Cody edit code not working

Hello, when I select the code and alt+k and edit the code, it does not react at all. It was working before. Then it started working sometimes, this morning it doesn’t do anything anymore. Sometimes it gives a warning that these features are turned off by administrator

cody was working fine at first but for the last 3 days it started messing up the code and doing weird things.visual studio 2022 does not have “edit code” feature at all, is this feature special for jetbrain rider?

and when i opened jetbrain rider in the morning it said “your license has expired” in the code menu, when i logged out and logged back in the warning went away but i don’t understand, maybe my license is not working, that’s why cody is not working properly but it’s only been 1 week since i got the license

finally, when I do shift+enter to move to the bottom line in the cody chat area, the jetbrains “data sources and drivers” menu opens. the shortcut gets confused. can I change this shortcut in cody?

Hey @serdar

The “features are turned off by administrator” message is a known bug and a reload of the IDE helps here.

Visual Studio is in very experimental change and has no feature parity to JetBrains or Visual Studio Code IDE, but the team is working on it.

The “your license has expired” is due to a network syncing error. While the extension is initializing and tries to fetch the authentication credentials other extensions might interfere and a network timeout occurs.

You can set the keyboard shortcuts in general in the settings of the IDE. There are the extensions keyboard mappings defined.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

ok thank you,

Yes I have already done it, but this error starts to appear after a while during the day. Isn’t it a bit strange to reinstall every time this error appears? Is this error caused by you or the IDE? Should I contact JetBrains?

but when I say edit code on the popup screen that opens, it does not react. what is the reason for this? in the past, options such as accept | reject | show used to come out and take action…Or is this problem caused by the IDE?
