Public Prompt - How public?

We are using Sourcegraph Enterprise. My team has started writing custom prompts for our repositories for eventual broader use. We’d like to collaborate, but sharing prompts seems limited to either only the creator can use it, or it’s “public” but only a “site admin” can make prompts public.

I have a few questions on this that the help site nor the AI help agent could find answers to:

  1. Are “public” prompts within an Enterprise tenant public to the world, or public within our tenant?
  2. It seems a little restrictive for sharing to be all or nothing. Are there any plans for more fine-grained control over sharing of prompts?
  3. Will there be an option for non-admins to share prompts? It seems pretty arbitrary that only admins can share prompts. This stifles collaboration in my mind.

Thanks in advance.

Look into organizations in Sourcegraph. An org is a named group of users. You can create one from the settings page in your web browser. After joining an org, you can transfer ownership of prompts to the org, which makes the prompts visible to other members. Bit of a middle ground between “private” and “public”.

Thanks; I think this will do the trick!
