I was excited to see Cody finally released its Eclipse plugin. I have being waiting for that for a while now. Unfortnatly when I tried it on the new Sts there are allot of bugs in the plugin. The chat works (A bit slow in my opnion) and you can only copy the solutions to the clipboard but beside that nothing works and I don’t see any autocompletion on the editor. Clearly there is allot more work to be done to make a proper Ai coding asstient on Eclipse like Codeium , Tabnine or even CoPilotForEclipse. I really looking foward to have an ai that can create new files and not just add code to an existing files. Please keep working on it. I will be watching for any update. Also please if there is any improvment post it on Discord since I did not see any posting on Discord when the plugin came out. I stumble on to it by chance when I looked at the changelog at your site

Just to set expectations, Eclipse is super experimental. We don’t have concrete timelines for adding autocomplete or the path from experimental to GA.
We have halted further development until we start the next pilot with a customer in a couple of months.
