The issue is resolved now. The reply from the team on discord:

According to our monitoring it was down for 9 minutes. Thanks for reporting and sorry about that. We have been having some trouble around our DB that we are actively working on. The root cause is around some DB migrations we are doing which is uncovering some unhealthy behaviours in our backend. Should all be in a much better place sooner rather than later.

Hello @PriNova

It seems that the issue came back.

Request Failed: Sourcegraph Cody Gateway: unexpected status code 403: {"error":"Cody Gateway access not enabled"}

Thank you for the report.

There seems no official issues on the operational status of Sourcegraph systems.

I will watch it closely and report back.

I got the same issue: Request Failed: Sourcegraph Cody Gateway: unexpected status code 403: {“error”:“Cody Gateway access not enabled”}

Hey @Kuddel55 if this error persists, please send an email with your inquiry and Sourcegraph username to support@sourcegraph.com

Thank you

Hi, i have a problem with cody( i’m pro subscriber

Request Failed: Sourcegraph Cody Gateway: unexpected status code 403: {“error”:“Cody Gateway access not enabled”}

Hey @frostoffskiy

Which IDE and model are you using?
Thank you

IDE: VS Code
There is another unpleasant problem, when I make a request to cody, he starts to output his answer and after a few seconds, the whole dialog disappears, I don’t even have time to read the answer
This error occurs on any model

Yes, mine too. The entire extension crashes (grey screen) and I have to restart VS Code only to have it crash once again.

PS: I’m on Linuxmint

Will there be any solution? It is not possible to work with the extension, it constantly crashes, and you have to open a new dialog box, make a new request and it crashes again. I have paid for my subscription and unfortunately I cannot use the add-on to the full :frowning:

Try opening it in the editor and see how that works. Keep us updated.

It seems like the error is back now.

Using Cody in IntelliJ

it’s back to normal already.

i got this problem again.

Thank you for reporting.

Cody was actaully down for some minutes. This could be the issue, why edits didn’t work.

Thank you for your reply. It’s working properly now.:+1:
