Backspace is not working on Jetbrain Rider Mac - Cody

I wrote this issue to support last month, nothing is changed. maybe also creating topic here will help.

On Mac OS - JetBrains Rider backspace button is not working for Cody plugin. If I want to delete text that I wrote, I have to press shift + backspace to delete text.

Can someone please fix this issue.

Right now I am using
Mac OS 15.0.1
JetBrains Rider 2024.2.7
Cody 7.0.18

I tried to replicate the issue (although I’m on Windows) but can’t.
Does this only happen in the text field in the Cody chat box or is this behavior observable in other text fields too?

This bug only occur on mac os. There is no problem on window machines. I should also wrote that there is no problem on windows machines.

To add to this, this not only happens with Cody chat box, other tools like Blackbox AI plugin have the same issue, so it must be something about the component used for the text input itself. And the issue is only on Rider, I use other Jetbrains IDEs (Idea and Pycharm) and the issue is not present
