Cody mentioning code that was deleted long ago

Hello there!

I’ve been noticing something strange lately.

Cody (the VSCode extension) will answer questions I ask about my repository with functions and even filenames that I’ve deleted days ago. It’s like it’s remembering stuff that did exist once but that I’ve refactored out of existence a relatively long time ago.

To my knowledge there is no way to reset Cody’s memory or cache.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks!

Hello @ismi
The issue might stem from transitioning the code embedding from a local to a server-side storage, aiming to improve code search capabilities. The development team is addressing this to enhance user experience.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
